Curve Story join with Oscar Winner and Sky for major International Feature Documentary

We are proud to launch our premium factual brand ‘Curve Story’ with a major new international feature documentary. ‘The Scream’ tells the extraordinary story of the 1994 art heist where the world famous painting was stolen in Oslo during the Winter Olympic Games. Sky Documentaries are our lead partners, along with BBC Studios and Abacus Media Rights. The film is Directed by Jenny Ash with Asif Kapadia, Rob Carey and Camilla Lewis Executive Producing and will be released in late 2022.

Netflix picks up Curve’s ‘Coastal Britain’

Following ratings success on Channel 5 and subsequent re-order for season 2, Netflix have picked up the rights to Curve Media’s ‘Kate Humble’s Coastal Britain’. Season 2 is expected to air in Spring 2022, with Season 1 dropping on the streaming platform at the same time.

Curve Media in production on multiple primetime Channel 4 Series

Curve’s production teams have begun production on 2 major new Channel 4 primetime series. ‘Geordie Hospital’ is a 6-part series that follows the incredible staff at Newcastle General Hospital as they perform life-saving and life-changing procedures. From porters to surgeons, each episode follows hospital workers over one shift. ‘Perfect House, Secret Location’ is a groundbreaking new property format that follows house-buyers not tied to a specific location as they choose their perfect homes without knowing where they are! Both series are due to air in 2022.

Paramount+ orders new Curve International Architecture Series

Following the global success of Curve’s ‘How Did They Build That?’ for Smithsonian Channel, US streamer Paramount+ have ordered 10 new episodes of the blue-chip international architecture series. Shooting begins in September 2021 in the US, Middle East and Europe.

Curve in production on three BBC One flagship Factual Series

Curve Media are in production on three BBC One series. ‘Clean It, Fix It’ is a 15-part new property makeover format following a team who clean and fix Britain’s cluttered homes. Shooting has started on season 15 of BBC One’s ‘Claimed and Shamed’, the new season of the popular format that exposes insurance fraudsters will air in late 2022. ‘Vicky McClure, My Dementia Revolution’ sees the return of a third season of Curve Media’s dementia choir project. The new season will chart the growth of dementia choirs across the UK, leading to a major concert event. The format has now sold in 5 territories with repeat orders in Germany and The Netherlands.

Discovery’s Salvage Hunters officially Network’s most successful Brand

After 130 episodes, 6 spin-off series and a ratings explosion taking consolidated viewers to over 1 million an episode, Curve Media’s Salvage Hunters shows no sign of slowing down. It has also passed another milestone, Discovery International’s most successful series of all time. With episodes ordered until 2024 and more spin-off series (including a celebrity-packed travel series for Discovery+) in the pipeline, the future for fans of the shows is looking bright.

When Camilla and Rob created ‘Our Dementia Choir’, the intention was to spread awareness of the positive power of music and singing on dementia sufferers and their families. Caroline Blackadder, Executive Producer - Goodbye and Hello!


Eight years ago Caroline Blackadder joined the Salvage Hunters team as Series Producer. Shortly after she became Executive Producer alongside Rob Carey. In her 6 years as Exec, Caroline has overseen the dramatic growth of the show from 10 episodes a year to three series (Salvage Hunters, SH Classic Cars and SH The Restorers) producing over 30 episodes a year. After an extraordinary run, Caroline is moving away from the brand to work on new projects for Curve. We’d like to thank her for her brilliant work and look forward to creating more fantastic output with her in the future.

Following a successful run, the BBC have ordered two further series from the team at Curve Wales. Shooting is underway and season two is expected to air at the end of the year, with season three airing in 2019.

Christmas at Curve


This Christmas all staff at Curve gave their time and money to support homeless people in London. Working with the Single Homeless Project, the Curve family donated luxury domestic items to be distributed at shelters, held a yummy bake sale and donated their time to work at the shelters themselves. Curve Media announce ambitious new BBC One primetime project


Curve Media are truly excited to be working with the incredible Vicky McClure (This Is England, Line Of Duty, The Replacement) on ‘Vicky McClure: My Dementia Choir’, a major unscripted project for BBC One in 2018.

Camilla Lewis - In The Big Brother House


Staff at Curve Media were greeted with the exciting news this morning that Camilla Lewis will shortly be heading into the Big Brother House for 24 hours to record a special ‘industry’ episode of the show for the 2015 Edinburgh International Television Festival! While Kings Cross will be a little quieter for a couple of days, we fear the worst for her fellow housemates – may the Lord have mercy on their souls!

Curve Foundation – Coming Soon


Curve Media are pleased to announce the launch of The Curve Foundation, the brainchild of Rob Carey and Camilla Lewis, joint CEO’s of Curve Media. TCF is a not-for-profit organisation backed by the company to promote diversity in the television industry. We will do this by launching a range of initiatives including a rolling internship programme for new talent from diverse backgrounds, mentoring schemes and establishing an industry ‘gold standard’ training programme - ratified by the Royal Television Society – for television companies to adopt for young talent entering our exciting industry.
